• » Guests have to park their vehicle on one side of highway near by local tea stall. From here on, our representative will guide you till Anand Lok and guard your vehicle.
• » Trek route from highway: Walk for 200 mtrs towards River Ganga followed with short and peaceful boat ride to cross the river, now you are away from humdrum of city life. Walk uphill for 300-400 mtrs to reach Anand Lok. During summers (Mid of April-Mid of June), day temperature is very high.
• » It’s very important that you communicate us your tentative time of arrival for smooth coordination.
• » We don't offer television and A/C at Anand Lok. Whole idea is to minimize disturbance to Mother Nature.
• » Every cottage and room offer separate balcony to view River Ganga (only single rooms, Kaveri I & II share one balcony).
• » Idea of Anand Lok was initiated to financially assist some of social welfare projects which also include generation of employment for villagers. We select our staff from nearby villages and trained them to serve our guests. Our staff members are very helpful and courteous in their approach and speak only Hindi and Garhwali but few of them also understand English.
• » We offer fresh milk products from our own dairy farms and food grain and vegetables from our kitchen gardens and farmland.
